Causes of Chronic Pain

First, just so we are all on the same wavelength, here are two important definitions.

Wellness: Good health happens when all systems of the body are functioning correctly, and are in balance
Disease: When one or more systems of the body is unbalanced, ceases to function, or is overwhelmed.

We recognize that certain injuries may result in chronic pain that may last for a few days, weeks, years, or even a lifetime. However, with the above definition, we will refer to pain caused by injury under the disease definition. We hope this will not cause concern or confusion.
